Why did you become a Student Ambassador?
Since high school, I have been passionate about leadership and organizing events around campus; when I came across the Student Ambassadors program, I believed that it would be a perfect fit for me.
Campus Involvement: For the past three years, I’ve been part of the Freshman Mentoring Program on campus. It’s incredibly fulfilling to know that I’m making a difference in students’ lives and helping make their transition into college just a little easier.
What has surprised you most about yourself since starting at UTD?
Since starting at UTD, I’ve watched myself grow from a student who was too shy to talk to others and too afraid to try new things transition into someone who is confident and ready to tackle any challenge that comes my way.
Favorite UTD Tradition: Weeks of Welcome (WoW) is my favorite tradition at UTD. The events and games bring students together, helping them bond over various activities.
Interesting Fact About This Ambassador: Sleeping is my favorite hobby!!
