Why did you become a Student Ambassador?
I’ve always had a passion for leadership in any environment I was in, so coming to UTD, I knew it would be perfect to join such an honorable and professional organization like the ambassadors. Through this I’ve forged friends and professional relationships that I would forever cherish.
Campus Involvement: I’m a part of National Society of Black engineers as a Mentor and I’m a part of Girls who code as a Mentor.
What has surprised you most about yourself since starting at UTD?
I think what surprised me the most is how open and outgoing I am now. Moving to the US, I was definitely more reserved and quiet, but coming to an organization like this forces you to speak up and be a true leader.
Favorite UTD Tradition: My favorite tradition is definitely Passport Around the World
Interesting Fact About This Ambassador: An interesting fact about me is I speak three languages: English, Igbo and French
