Why did you become a Student Ambassador?
In retrospect, I grew a lot as a person, challenged myself outside of my comfort zone, and interacted with so many wonderful people since starting UTD. Therefore, I wanted to represent the university through service and leadership. It also looked like a lot of fun!

Campus Involvement: Pre-Dental Association, Freshman Mentor Program, Comet Cupboard

What has surprised you most about yourself since starting at UTD?
Discovering how I was able to subtly spread my artwork around campus always surprises me. Sometimes, I see the stickers I drew on someone’s laptop, hear compliments about the merch I designed, or notice a keychain I created hanging on a backpack, and each encounter fills me with joy. I am glad I found the confidence to share my art with the UTD community.

Favorite UTD Tradition: Oozeball and Comets Giving Days

Interesting Fact About This Ambassador: I won an art competition and got to showcase my artwork in the U.S. Capitol, but it was during COVID, so I didn’t get to see the display in real life unfortunately.
